1997. EXPORT PRIZE.
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Madrid awarded Bralo, S.A. the Export Award in recognition of the effort, tenacity, efficiency, talent, dynamism and leadership that have made the Group synonymous with global competitiveness.

2004. XV CEDINOX prize.
The Association for the Research and Development of Stainless Steel granted Bralo, S.A. the XV CEDINOX Award for its contribution to the development of products that are distinguished by their effectiveness and originality in the use of stainless steel.

2004. II PRIZE FOR QUALITY AND INNOVATION OF HARDWARE AND DIY.

2017. GOLD STAR TO PROFESSIONAL EXCELLENCE
Bralo is recognized with the Gold Star awarded by the Institute for Professional Excellence.

HISTORICAL MILESTONES

1979
Basilio López Bravo, president and founder of the Bralo Group, begins his business career with the commercialization of rivets and riveting tools.

1985
The business is growing progressively in this decade until it has its own manufacturing centre in the town of Fuenlabrada, Madrid.

1992
The first opening of a commercial branche outside Spanish territory occurs in October 1992 in Lyon (France).

1995
Always at the forefront of innovation, and in order to meet the needs of our customers, this year we began the manufacture and marketing of insert nuts.

Bralo installs its central services in a new building located in the Madrid town of Pinto. The new facilities have 12,000 square meters and a productive capacity of 2,700 million pieces per year.

1996
The Group starts its activity in Portugal with the opening of a new commercial branche in Sintra (Portugal).
In addition, Bralo opens its horizons to new continents. A new productive plant is inaugurated in Mexico.

1997
The Bralo Group is recognized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Madrid with the Export Award.
As a reward for its constant policy of quality and control, TÜV Rheinland Group grants Bralo the ISO 9001 certification.
Bralo Czech Republic joins the list of commercial delegations.

1999
The facilities in Madrid are expanded. The works involve renovating the original factory and the construction of a new warehouse in contiguous land. New stamping equipment, washing area, a modern fully automated packaging, labeling and packaging area, a new 5000 m² warehouse and a Center for Innovation and Quality Control, are some of the new facilities available at the plant.

2000
Bralo obtains VDA 6.1 certification from the TÜV Rheinland Group, in recognition of compliance with European regulations on quality requirements of suppliers of the European Automobile Industry (Fiat, VW, Audi, Porsche, SEAT, Peugeot, Citroën, Renault, Daimler Benz and Volkswagen).

2001
A new commercial delegation opens in the West Midlands (United Kingdom).

2002
Bralo opens its sixth commercial branches: Bralo Germany.

2003
Bralo obtains a new certification: ISO TS 16949, reference standard for large automotive groups.

2004
Bralo continues the opening of new markets. Two new branches opened: Bralo Italia and Bralo Turquía.
During this year Bralo is again recognized; receives the XV Cedinox Award for its contribution to the development of stainless steels in Spain and the II Award for Quality and Innovation in Hardware and DIY.

2005
The foundations are laid for an adequate logistic system at the expected strong growth rate. Bralo expands its facilities in Madrid with the implementation of an automatic storage and recovery system (AS / RS) that has the most modern control technologies.
The new warehouse has 10,000 square meters and a capacity of 5,000 europalets. The new automated high-performance system automatically loads pallets, trolleys and containers using stacker cranes equipped with telescopic forks and other devices to store the cargo in multiple depth locations.
The Pinto plant becomes, with 16,000 m², one of the most modern rivet factories in the world and technological model, productivity and logistics efficiency.

2007
Bralo China is born. In November, a new manufacturing plant was opened in Ningbo, at the forefront in terms of the competitiveness of its production structure.
Basilio López receives a recognition from the Txema Elorza Foundation for his human values and his professional career in the world of hardware and DIY.

2010
Bralo celebrates its 25 years in the market.

2016
Bralo launches its new range of BNT pneumatic riveting tools, the lightest and quietest on the market, with high performance and riveting speed.

Bralo obtains ISO 14001 environmental certification.
