Insert nut especially designed for applications with a single-side access that have thin sheets or plastic parts. Bralo Grooved Insert Nuts ensure a safe and resistant fastening.

DescriPTION

The grooved insert nut is a mechanical fastening element that provides a grooving feature in applications with a single-side access. It is ideal for applications with thin metal sheets, tubes, extrusion or plastic.

Once it has been placed, its grooving gets hold of the material preventing its rotation. The result is a highly safe and resistant grooved solution.

LARGE HEAD GROOVED AND KNURLED INSERT NUT

Ideally used in applications with plastic. The knurls under the head ensure the locking of the insert nut with the riveted item.
SUPER LARGE HEAD GROOVED AND KNURLED OPEN END INSERT NUT

It is ideal for applications with thin steel sheets, hollow or plastic parts. The super large head allows for the better distribution of the axial loads, while the knurls under the head ensure the locking of the insert nut.

To avoid the effects of external agents, the Bralo Grooved Insert Nut is available in a galvanic zincating. This zinc coating protects steel from rust and corrosion, improving the visual aspect of the item at the same time.Depending on the required strength in each application, there are various available zincating options: the galvanic one, where the zinc is the only metal that forms the suffering layer and the nickel zincating, with a resistance twice as high as that of the normal zincating, making it suitable for automotive and weather resistant applications. The latter is also available in a transparent, shiny look that can be silver or black.
