DescripTION

It is a blind fastening system that allows for a pre-installation of the piece to be screwed onto the male thread. The mandrel, when installed, protrudes from the workpiece, allowing the correct placement of the pieces to be fixed so that the final assembly takes place with a nut. It is a very practical fastening element since it does not require access on both sides.

The Bralo Stud Nut is specifically designed for use with applications involving heavy parts or those with a difficult access. It is manufactured by welding and is widely used in air conditioning systems, electrical appliances and electronics.

FINISHES

The same finishes are available for both the Stud Nuts and the Insert Nuts.

The Bralo Stud Nut is available in a galvanic zincating. Not only does this zinc coating protect steel from rust and corrosion, but it also improves the visual aspect of the item.

Depending on the required strength in each application, there are various available zincating options: the galvanic one, where the zinc is the only metal that forms the suffering layer and the nickel zincating, with a resistance twice as high as that of the normal zincating, making it suitable for automotive and weather resistant applications. The latter is also available in a transparent, shiny look that can be silver or black.
