Aluminium alloy break-mandrel blind rivet with a big bearing area in the shape of a flower with four petals. Bralo Peel Rivet is ideal for applications with plastics or materials with low resistance to pressure.

Description

Bralo Peel Rivet is a break-mandrel blind rivet designed for the fastening, in a fast and simple way, of rigid materials to soft materials or those with low resistance.

The head of the mandrel is provided with edges that longitudinally cut the rivet body on the blind side. The rivet body is divided thus into four petals that bend outwards and come into contact with the material to be fastened, creating a locking head with a big diameter. This large expansion on the blind side distributes the load and the clamping force, reducing the risk of crushing and breaking of materials. Once the riveting process is finished, the head of the mandrel comes off leaving a central hole.

	Dome Head It is the most versatile type of head. It provides enough bearing surface to retain all kinds of materials, except those extremely smooth and brittle.
	Large Head The larger diameter of the head increases the compression resistance, reinforcing the material around the drill. It is the best type of head for materials with low resistance.

Bralo Peel Rivet is available in an infinity of lacquering and in any kind of material. From black to white, we have a range of over 50 RAL colours and we can make special lacquering under request.

Bralo Peel Rivet can be anodized and it is also available with an organic coating (Delta-Seal, Delta-Protekt, etc.) that achieves a greater strength and durability. Both finishes protect aluminium from abrasion, corrosion, and the anodising allows it also to be tinted in a wide variety of colors.

Another option is the zincating, only available for the steel rivets. Zincating is a zinc coating that not only protects steel from oxidation and corrosion, but it also improves the visual aspect of the item. Depending on the required strength in each application, there are various available zincating options: the galvanic one, where the zinc is the only metal that forms the suffering layer and the nickel zincating, with a resistance twice as high as that of the normal zincating, making it suitable for automotive and weather resistant applications. The latter is also available in a transparent, shiny look that can be silver and black.
