Steel Whasers for Rivets

Our washers are manufactured with steel of the best quality and have undergone a special heat treatment to ensure a secure grip quality.

The washers are an accessory of frequent use when the material on the back of the application is soft or brittle (plastic, wood, etc.), or when the drill on the back of the application is too large.

When the riveting force is exerted, the inner hole of the washer adjusts to the expansion of the rivet. In this way, the external diameter of the washer distributes the pressure (axial load) without deforming the soft material, and preventing the stem from lowering to the end and getting it to split exactly at the point of rupture.

The washers are available in a wide range of rivet diameters, from 2.4 mm to 6.4 mm, although on request, we also design custom washers for special uses.
