High resistance single-side access fastener. It is designed for the most demanding applications when it comes to tensile and shear strengths. The Bralo Hard Lock rivet, due to its large expansion on the blind side, is suitable for applications with thin sheets.

Description

Bralo Hard Lock Rivet has been designed for the fastening of elements that require exceptional tensile and shear strengths. It has been designed to meet the most heavy-duty fastening applications and ensures a high quality fastening.

The load and torque forces are well distributed, due to its feature of large expansion on the blind side. It is, therefore, particularly suitable for the work with thin sheets.

Its unique grooved mandrel design allows the head of the rivet to be completely held inside the body due to a mechanical locking, avoiding thus any kind of electrical problems and noises caused by loose mandrels. It allows a homogeneous riveting, a solid and high quality joint that resists all kinds of vibrations.

Bralo have no limits when it comes to variety. Our intensive search for materials and our constant use of innovative technology have established the widest range of finishes in the market.

To avoid the effects of external agents, the most appropriate finishes for the Bralo Hard Lock Rivet are: zincating or organic coating. Zincating is a zinc coating that not only protects steel from oxidation and corrosion, but it also improves the visual aspect of the item. Depending on the required strength in each application, there are various available zincating options: the galvanic zincating, where the zinc is the only metal that forms the suffering layer and the nickel zincating, with a resistance twice as high as that of the normal zincating, making it suitable for automotive and weather resistant applications. The latter is also available in a transparent, shiny look that can be silver and black.

Besides, Bralo Hard Lock Rivet is also available, in any kind of material, in an infinity of lacquering with liquid epoxy painting. From black to white, we have a range of over 50 RAL colours and we can make special lacquering under request.

Bralo Hard Lock Rivet is available in an anodised finish or with an organic coating (Delta Seal), which give the rivet a higher resistance and durability.
